Timo Lavikainen and Pasi Karp's performance Man for a Man in Pyhtää on Sat 1.3.
Why is it particularly difficult to raise children in Pyhtymä? Why don't banks in the Kymenlaakso region make a loss? And what do Pyhtää's Saaristomarkt and the life of a sunflower have in common? These are some of the questions that will be answered in Timo Lavikainen's and Pasi Karp's performance Man for Man.
The show is based on the characters created by Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones in the 80s sitcom. In Finland, the series was presented as "Lunta tupaan". The iconic image of the white-robed men is seen as a symbol of the golden years of British comedy.
Now, after 40 years, people are still unashamedly putting the cat on the table and talking about the mid-life crisis, health problems, money worries, child-rearing and very, very much about women. In an absurd continuum of repeated misunderstandings, of course!
Performance at the Aeronautica Arena restaurant on 1 March 2025 at 18.30.
Tickets 26€-30€ from Tiketti, R-kiosks or at the door, if there are any left.
Snacks and refreshments will be available at the Aeronamnam restaurant during the performance. Menu coming soon.
